Idit was born in Israel in Zichron Yaakov. She has an older sister who lives in Israel, and a younger brother is a commander in the Israeli Navy. Both of her parents are educators, which is why it’s no surprise that she served as an non-commissioned education officer in the Israeli Navy. After the Navy, she studied education at Oranim Academic College and received her teaching certificate in nature and science for elementary school. She was selected by the Jewish Agency for Israel to be an Israel Fellow at USF and is looking forward to getting to know the USF students and share her love for Israel with anyone and everyone she meets.
“I enjoy reading books, hiking with friends and doing all kind of art & crafts. Since I was a child, I was interested in History especially the story of Israel and Israeli culture and Jewish tradition and it’s very important to me to stay up-to-date and involved in the Israeli society. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Hillel at USF and my door is always open for a talk and for planning activities on the campus.”
